HCG Program

A clinician-supervised program that pairs HCG with a structured nutrition plan.

Quick answer: Our HCG program combines clinician supervision with a structured, reduced-calorie nutrition plan. Please read the FDA statement at the bottom of this page: HCG itself is not FDA-approved for weight loss, and the structure of the nutrition plan is what drives weight change.

How it works

  1. Evaluation. A clinician reviews your health history and decides if a supervised, reduced-calorie program is safe for you.
  2. Structured nutrition plan. You get a clear plan with food lists and portions, plus coaching so you know what to eat and why.
  3. Supervision. Regular visits monitor your weight, how you feel and any side effects, with changes made as needed.
  4. Transition. The program ends with a planned step-down into maintenance.

Important to know

Very-low-calorie plans are not appropriate for everyone, including people who are pregnant or breastfeeding or who have certain medical conditions. Hunger, fatigue and headaches can occur. A clinician decides whether this program is right for you.

Questions

Is HCG approved for weight loss?
No. The FDA has not approved HCG for weight loss, and the FDA states there is no substantial evidence it works for that purpose beyond calorie restriction. We are upfront about that, and our program is built around supervision and nutrition support.
Who is this program for?
It suits people who want a structured plan with close clinical support and who a clinician finds are appropriate for it. Others are usually better served by a different program, and we will tell you so.

Guides on this topic

Important information. HCG has not been approved by the FDA for weight loss. There is no substantial evidence that HCG increases weight loss beyond that expected from calorie restriction, that it causes a more attractive or "normal" distribution of fat, or that it decreases hunger or the discomfort of restricted-calorie diets. Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. Whether a treatment is appropriate for you is a medical decision made by a licensed clinician after an evaluation.
